 Hey everyone, welcome back to the Amazing Blog of Florida!! Today I want to take you along and talk about something that many of you all may not know existed. I want to bring you into a tiny part of my hometowns history. Callahan, Fl was established in 1911 by two local railroads collided. This gets us into what we are here to talk about today.  On September twenty-fourth , I visited The Callahan Depot, at my towns heart. I was accompanied by my brother, Bishop. During this time, we arrived at around five O'clock and left around six. We were able to go after his football game so his outfit may be a tiny bit different! Many things were learned that I didn't know myself as a resident of this small town.  While visiting and reading articles of the town, I was able to discover why exactly the railways came through our town and how our small town was created. The pantano did not get along with the Spanish . There were around 1500 starting off the missions but soon after epidemics the population decreases dramatically. After a few years these missions were abandoned. From this, the mission was transferred to the Spanish and it was taken over and merged into the mission at San Francisco in 1703. In 1704 San Francisco became one of the last outpost/missions located on the west side of the St. Johns river. The last and remaining Indians moved east and abandoned the mission after 100 year

 Hey crazy cool and spunky Floridians, I'm Kcrews, your blogger and I am going to inform you on what is going on in chapter 3 of "A Land Remembered" .  But first lets start with a simple question, What would you do if you thought you were being watched? To start off, in chapter three, the world went crazy, haha, I'm just kidding but my mind was shocked! We start off with Tobias feeling like he was being watched, But by what? Indians, he was being watched by Indians. In Chapter 3 it states, "He heard no sound but the thud of the axe, and was unaware that someone was standing behind him. When he turned and faced the two men and the women, he was startled." From there, his normal fight or flight instinct kicked in, but soon realized that there was no fight needed. Knowing this he had a simple conversation with the Indians.  Hi, my name is Kaylee Crews,     As you all read before I am a dual enrollment student at West Nassau. I am a senior, one more year!! Some things that I enjoy are cheerleading, hanging with my family, friends, and boyfriend and being a dog mom. MY "child's" name is Darla, she is so stinking cute!  My day to day activity includes cheer. I am on my schools cheerleading team and have been cheering my whole life. If you knew me personally my two personality traits are cheer and being a dog mom! But I am super excited to take on this class and hope to make some new friends along the way!
